Enterprise Architect

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing a robust and scalable data strategy, including developing data models, guiding master data management (MDM), and establishing data governance policies. You will collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to define data domains, ensure data quality, and provide architectural guidance for the operational data platform. The ideal candidate possesses a comprehensive understanding of data architecture principles, practical data modeling experience, and a solid grasp of data-centric architecture.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field 8+ years overall IT experience including progressive IT experience in architecture. 5+ years of Data Architecture or Database Administrator experience in designing or implementing OLTP/RDBMS databases, Data Warehouse, Data Marts 4+ years of hands-on experience creating data models using data modeling tools (e.g. Power Designer) Knowledge of Master Data Management concepts and tools Experience in GCP technologies including Big Query, PostgreSQL, DBT, Cloud Run, Mongo DB Experience in defining and implementing data quality initiatives.

Our preferred requirements:

Functional and Architecture Experience with one or more PLM platforms (e.g., Siemens’ Teamcenter, Dassault’s 3D Experience) Knowledge of TOGAF, DAMA Architecture Framework and Standards Ability to define data architecture principles, guidelines and standards Expertise in interoperability standards and methods Outstanding and proven leadership skills in working with senior-level management helping in decision-making. Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Strong ability to self-manage and develop work plans that employ appropriate methods to resolve ambiguity and build consensus for an architectural solution

Responsibilities:

Design and develop information data models including conceptual, logical and physical data models for Industrial Systems. Manage and maintain these models in a Power Designer repository.  Identify key data entities, create conceptual models, map them to value stages and business capabilities, and develop high-level data flows for both current and future states. Provide architecture guidance for the IS IT enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) strategy, support to establish data governance policies, evaluate and select right MDM tools. Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to define business data domains, its ownership and guide to establish system of record and source of truth. Support the PDO team’s intake process, understanding business requirements, translating them into people, process, data and system requirements, applying data architectural principles, and provide right guidance to create data products. Provide a comprehensive data migration strategy to consolidate different workstream data centric platforms into one IS operational data platform. Perform data quality analysis, identify, propose recommendations to resolve data quality issues. Establish data architecture principles, data standards, best practices, and guidelines for the design of the operational data platform.  Perform proof of concepts and guide Product team members to design and develop using different data engineering technologies and tools.
