Enterprise Architect
As member of our global Enterprise Architecture team at SMO IT you play an important role in digital transition and establishing the enterprise function in our company as enabling partner for our business to achieve business goals and position IT as enabler.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead enterprise architecture management and IT transformation programs to optimize application portfolios and support business goals Ensure application interoperability through modern integration patterns and domain-driven design Provide architectural guidance, governance, and compliance with the existing IT landscape Define intentional architecture and develop roadmaps for future states Shape cloud infrastructure models in collaboration with the cloud competence center Implement governance frameworks to ensure security and alignment with enterprise architecture principles Engage with stakeholders to position IT as a strategic enabler and partner Support data-driven decision-making via the enterprise repository  

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field Proven experience in enterprise architecture and IT transformation programs Experience with LeanIX and architecture design/modeling Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Expertise in managing IT projects, budgets, and resources Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and emerging technologies Familiarity with application portfolio management tools and techniques  

Extra Advantage for This Role:

Knowledge of the German language Experience in IoT, AI, or cloud-native technologies Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, PMP) are advantageous Domain knowledge in logistics, manufacturing, or railway industries
