The Enterprise Architect is a strategic, customer-facing member of the Advanced Growth Technologies Team. The Enterprise Architect is a consultative partner for our large enterprise customers, focusing on understanding their goals and strategies and mapping solutions to business outcomes.  The incumbent in this role will have a deep understanding of various technology solutions and capabilities around AI/GenAI Infrastructure, Next-Gen Hybrid Infrastructure, Modern Workplace, Hybrid Cost Management, and Enterprise Cybersecurity. 

 The Enterprise Architect is responsible for developing cross-functional strategies and solutions bringing together technical expertise, real-world experience, strong executive engagement skills and an inspirational mindset to help our customers solve their business challenges.

 

This position will report to the Director of Enterprise Architecture in Advanced Growth Technologies. This is a remote position with a Home Office setup, and candidates must be located within the Western region of the United States.

 

 

This position may be required to report to the SHI headquarters for meetings as determined by SHI management.

Demonstrate leadership to ensure that SHI's recommended solutions are comprehensive, achieve customer expectations, and meet business objectivesEngage with multiple layers of contacts within an organization to gain insights into the client’s environmentTranslates the clients’ business and technical objectives into solutionsAct as liaison between client stakeholders and SHI subject matter experts (SMEs)Position SHI services and drive the development of supporting documentationAccountable to manage opportunities and engage specialty resources to drive multi-faceted solution developmentFocused on delivering a world class customer experienceParticipate in account planning and executionOngoing training and learning to understand and position SHI’s service offeringsTerritorial alignment with strategic OEM partnersEducate and develop sales teams on technical selling, product training, SHI services, and technology trends Qualifications Bachelor's degree or relevant experience Proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and WordExperienced with building and understanding detailed SOW documentation7+ years' client-facing experience working on one or more complex data center, cloud, security, or network infrastructure solutionsExperience supporting enterprise accounts desiredFamiliarity with the RFI/RFP processConceptual understanding around Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, High Availability Solutions, and Virtualization technologiesExpertise in mainstream technologies including Dell, NetApp, HPE, NVIDIA, Cisco, Palo Alto, Pure Storage, Azure and AWSExperience with Public and Private Cloud Solutions Required Skills Possess a real passion for technologyOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to build relationships with customersProactive mindsetExcellent presentation skillsAbility to work effectively, add value as a team member, and assume a leadership role for the teamAbility to train and disseminate information within an area or operationAbility to resolve and close complex technical and selling situationsAbility to work effectively within all levels of an organization, both internally and externallyAbility to work both individually and in a team environmentMust be results driven with a strong sense of urgencyAttention to detail, organization, and follow up skills are criticalInitiative to research and resolve problems with a positive attitudeExceptional time management skillsStrong documentation skills to include system/network diagrams and presentations Unique Requirements Ability to travel as required by the role (approximately 25% travel). Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $175,000 - $250,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
