Enterprise Architect I
The Enterprise Architect I - Application Integration is responsible for Architecting, and directing software development efforts intended to conform with enterprise scalability, reliability and maintainability. This leader will help define the Application Integration Architecture and Integration Development Roadmap. This role will not have direct management responsibility but will lead multiple application development teams, third-party contractors and/or offshore resources.


Principal Duties:Serve as leader of the Architecture of all Applications Integration. Including Supply Chain, Merchandising, Global Sourcing, Back Office, Digital and Store Operation technology teamProvide direction for Application Architecture, Design, Development, Unit / Integration Testing, Implementation and turnover documentation for assigned business domainsEnsure Data Architecture aligns with business requirements and best practicesResponsible for driving adherence to sprint and/or project milestonesCollaborate broadly on the definition of key application performance indicators and SLA’s, measure and communicate across the IT organizationEstablish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and business partners to ensure you are delivering on the promises we make as an IT organizationEvaluate team members performance, provide candid feedback and coaching than enables and motivates them to achieve objectivesPartner with ITIL Process Owners for Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management to ensure the correct application development processes are in place with the goal of continually improving operational excellenceEnsure departmental procedures, practices and standards are managed and enforcedAssist with preparation and management of capital and expense budgetsPerform project and non-project related tasks and activities to support the department’s goals and objectivesServe as primary product lead on strategic initiativesDetermine appropriate project structure, work streams and team leadsDevelop and maintain project plans with detailed tasks, activities, deliverables and timelinesEvaluate project resource requirementsContinuously assess and re-evaluate product priorities; develop contingency plansDocument product decisions, action items, issues and risksMaintain product document repositoriesServe as primary liaison with external vendorsMaintain, manage and report on project financial budgets, actuals and forecasts. Prepare project status reports and steering committee presentations
Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years senior IT leadership experience and understanding of all aspects of a large-scale application delivery functionAbility to communicate and interact with all levels of employees and managementAbility to handle multiple concurrent projects and meet aggressive deadlinesExperience leading others in Lean and/or Agile methodologies; experience working in a product-centric organization is a plusExperience in Oracle, DB2, Machine Learning libraries, digital/ecommerce technologiesExperience in migrating from monolithic development methods to microservices / container-based methods preferredExperience with GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Dataflow and Pub/SubExperience with confluent message brokers, Talend Data Fabric, Data Virtualization and Data Engineering ArchitectureExperience with OIC Integration PatternsExperience optimizing Batch and Stream processes  Strong proficiency in SQL, Python and Data Modeling toolsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Action oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and meet timelines and deadlinesStrong track record of delivering initiatives on time and on budgetHas a bias to action and innovation, is curious, and is constantly learning Desired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems, master’s degree preferred.Certification or experience with Architecture frameworks TOGAF Certification or experience with Data Management framework CDMP
