Hourly base pay rate is $23.17 - $34.81/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Cox Enterprises is actively seeking a dynamic Summer 2025 intern to contribute to our IBT Technology Architecture team in Atlanta, GA. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in technology architecture, emphasizing key skills in cloud computing, DevOps, generative AI, machine learning, platform engineering, integration, and analytics.

Responsibilities:

Assist in Solutions Architecture: Collaborate on tasks related to Solutions Architecture, gaining practical experience in the development lifecycle.Produce Architecture Deliverables: Contribute to the creation of solutions architecture documents and Visio diagrams to effectively communicate technology designs.Technology Trend Analysis: Conduct research on cutting-edge technology trends, specifically in cloud computing, DevOps practices, generative AI, and machine learning. Summarize findings in detailed PowerPoint presentations.Engage in Project Delivery: Participate in technology-driven meetings to understand the role of architecture in the project delivery lifecycle.Enterprise Architecture Maintenance: Support the upkeep of the enterprise architecture data repository, ensuring compliance with technology standards.Drive Innovation: Offer innovative ideas to enhance the technology organization's ability to meet evolving business needs.Develop Cloud Skills: Gain hands-on experience and skills in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Enhance DevOps Skills: Contribute to and experience the thrill of working in a DevOps environment, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and GitHub rollouts.Generative AI and Machine Learning: Explore and contribute to projects involving generative AI and machine learning capabilities, fostering a deeper understanding of data-driven decision-making.Platform Engineering, Integration, and Analytics: Collaborate on building robust integration platforms for seamless data flow, contribute to platform engineering initiatives, and engage in analytics projects.

Qualifications:

College student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in Computer-Science, Information Systems or related discipline

Continuous Learning Mindset: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, showcasing a commitment to continuous learning.Technical Aptitude: Basic computer skills, knowledge of desktop PC systems, mobile devices, and foundational understanding of Microsoft Office 365 software products.Effective Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to work independently while relying on judgment.Analytical Thinking: Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, reflecting the capacity to analyze and address challenges within the technology architecture realm.Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, showcasing flexibility and a proactive approach to change.Innovative Mindset: Showcase creativity and contribute ideas to drive innovation within the technology organization.

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
