The Technology Services Optimization Offering works with clients to transform their technology services and operations and provide enterprise-wide service transformation using ServiceNow. Working with Chief Information Officers, Technology Executives, Service Owners (HR, IT, Customer, Field Service, Project Portfolio Management) and their teams, they help to establish an operating model for technology, attentive to NextGen and advanced technologies, new and evolving service models for technology and the operational expectations of an organization.

The opportunity:

The GPS practice is seeking strong government consulting professionals to support clients looking to modernize and transform IT operations within their organizations. Our multi-faceted approach to solving our clients’ biggest problems incorporates a suite of technology tools and accelerators, frameworks, and team members with broad backgrounds and experience to bring results to our client.  

As a Deloitte professional, you will drive the improvement of digitally enabled organizations by conducting any of the following:

Seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Architect to join a six-month effort support the Client in Transportations’ Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This role will support the strategic planning and design of business and technology systems within the transportation sector. The role will require aligning business and technology strategies, ensuring effective software implementation, and supporting the development of enterprise architecture standards and governance.

Position Description and Responsibilities:

Enterprise Architecture governance support, including development of governance charter and assistance with the preparation and facilitation of Architecture Review Board (ARB) meetings.Enterprise Architecture requirements elicitation and maintenance in the areas of Business, Data, Applications, and Technology.Collaboration with business and IT/Operational Technology (OT) stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into requirements.Development of problem statements in the areas of Business, Data, Applications, and Technology.Design of future state (inclusive of interim state(s) and target state) Business, Data, Applications, and Technology architecture models compliant with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).Assist with the development of implementation and/or decommissioning strategies, roadmaps, and plans aligned to the target state architectures.Assist with the development of high-quality client deliverables in a timely fashion.Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Initiate and execute on multiple tasks, and work effectively, both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.Demonstrate strong facilitation, leadership, and communication skills to engage client stakeholders and support meetings.Function effectively and efficiently within small teams as needed to gather information to support architecture analysis and design.
