As an Enterprise Architect Group Manager within PNC’s Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or one of PNC’s technology and innovation hubs (Cleveland, OH / Birmingham, AL / Dallas, TX / Phoenix, AZ). The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
As a member of PNC’s Enterprise Architecture (EA) organization, you will play a crucial role shaping PNC’s technology landscape and will be accountable for establishing standards and ensuring they are appropriately used in reference architectures and patterns.
You will lead a team to be the EA business partner to the Office of the CTO and partner on new technology initiatives across all technology domains. The team is also responsible for fostering an emerging capabilities framework and technology radar and will partner with the Enterprise Innovation team and other technology/business areas to establish forward looking positions.
In addition, you will:
• Develop strategies for technology architecture and ensures that they align with business strategies and processes; manages and develops technical resources and architecture staff to deliver high quality solutions and results.
• Lead with a strong technology architecture point of view, guiding and contributing to decisions pertaining to software development, software acquisition, infrastructure technology, network and security, data and business architecture. Guides technology investment priorities across the enterprise.
• Manage and develop talent and technical skills within the enterprise architecture resource team; employs team to deliver high quality solution advisory services and drive governance in order to meet business requirements and enterprise needs.
