Enterprise Business Development Manager - Central USPOSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
We’re seeking a “Make is Happen” passionate, creative, and principled sales professional with experience in consultive sales methodology and forming tight C-Level relationship with focus on Software Solution Sales. The primary objective of this position is to acquire net new logos in the mid-market and enterprise segment with national and global restaurant brands.
If you have experience creating highly complex software, hardware, and consulting solutions for Hospitality accounts in the restaurant, travel and entertainment segments, have a history of success developing funnel, influencing decisions and selling across multiple offices, we want to talk to you.
Key Areas of Responsibility include:
Works with cross functional solution specialists to develop enterprise solution strategies and ensure execution of sales plansThis position must be able to communicate effectively with strong business acumen across CMO, COO, CEO, and CIOs.Responsible for developing customer specific value propositions, business cases, and ROICreates technical integration strategies and implementation plans with customer’s IT stakeholdersGains customer commitment, builds momentum and accelerates the sales cycle, while working with key influencers throughout the sales process to minimize issues at closingCommunicate and inspire a vision for the business to customersCoordinates with other parts of the NCR organization to be able to meet client commitmentsImplements structured and consistent communication framework to ensure the relevant stakeholders have up-to-date visibility into the opportunities to identify and implement corrective actions early in the processPartners with other business units to expand cross-sell opportunitiesNegotiates multi-year software and services contractsWork with senior management to develop territory strategyUnderstands the customer’s business objectives and ensuring NCR is viewed as a strategic partner to help meet these goalsCommunicates effectively and driving cross functional teams to ensure customer success Responsible for identifying and qualifying top prospects for NCR solutions: including software, services, and hardwarePreference for residence in the Dallas, Denver, or Chicago markets (Central region highly preferred)Manages the sales process:
Build funnel – know how to prospect with various medians and run lead campaignsAble to move opportunities through the funnel via a defined sales process and sales methodology.C-Level Presence - able to have discussion about business issues with Marketing, Operations, IT, and FinanceDevelop relationships outside IT – tie our offering to business issues and problemsClose – negotiate contractual and financial termsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline10+ years of related business and sales management experience along with a proven track record of success in technology salesIn-depth experience and understanding of the Hospitality market and related competitionProven track record in salesBackground in SaaS and/or application softwareStrong communication and interpersonal skills, including establishing credibility and trust with cross functional teams that can impact your customer including engineering, development, finance, legal and professional services organizationsSignificant business acumenAbility to forge and leverage exceptional internal and customer partnershipsExperience in developing and executing solution sales strategiesAbility to work and manage in a matrix management environmentAvailable for travel with short notice (10-20% domestically)Proven experience in building sales funnelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in Hospitality software sales would be considered as a plusMaster’s degree (MBA or equivalent)“Make It Happen” / “Go Get It” approach a MUSTAccount and Project management skills; Client and Business plan management proficiencyPrevious experience using SalesforcePreference for residence in the Dallas, Denver, or Chicago markets (Central region highly preferred)Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job
