Client needs an enterprise/cloud architect with an understanding of their systems (cloud-based Dynamics 365/DevOps/Azure systems/environment) to be able to work as a high-level bridge between DoIT and the vendor doing legacy modernization. Client needs an enterprise/cloud architect with an understanding of their systems (cloud-based Dynamics 365/DevOps/Azure systems/environment) to be able to work as a high-level bridge between DoIT and the vendor doing legacy modernization. Agency is in the middle of overhauling their legacy system to cloud based ERP/ Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations system, and they need someone with the architectural understanding of such a system (cloud-based Dynamics 365/DevOps/Azure systems/environment) to be able to work as a high-level bridge between DoIT and the vendor doing the actual overhaul/modernization for them. They need someone who understands the intricacies of the architecture surrounding cloud-based ERP applications, various integration types with third party software (including things like SQL ETL processes, SFTP and CSV files, Odata, etc.), has a solid understanding of MS DevOps/Jira (ticketing/project management tracking software) and GitHub (development and version control software). The person should have technical architect-level experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations/ ERP, hands-on knowledge of Azure portal, subscriptions, active directory, synapse, Virtual Machines (VMs), Power BI, Precision Form, Knowledge of financial accounting and record keeping, experience with data integration including data mapping and ETL processes (such as KingswaySoft), and the ability to interpret business requirements into functional and technical specifications. The person in this role won’t actually be BUILDING the architecture, but needs to have that technical architect-level experience to ensure what the vendor is doing is truly necessary, meets the needs of the initiative, and makes sense for the business needs.Experience required: 3 Years
