The Enterprise Inside Account Executive’s purpose is to build a book of business and sell to SHI’s customers within an assigned territory within SHI Enterprise. The Enterprise Inside Account Executive will profile accounts through cold calling and prospecting, while developing and maintaining customer relationships by understanding and creating pricing quotes for their IT product, solutions, and services needs. This is primarily an inside sales role, with opportunities for in-person customer meetings as needed. This position is required to report to the Austin, TX office location as determined by SHI management.

Profile accounts through cold calling and prospectingEstablish and develop customer relationships via email and phone within assigned book(s) of businessHelp customers select, deploy and manage various aspects of their IT environmentQuote and place orders based on customer requestsGrow existing active buying accounts through profiling and managing projects through the entirety of the sales cycleConsistently hit daily and monthly activity goals: monthly meetings, monthly pipeline additions, and daily dials and talk timeRetire monthly/quarterly production quotaFacilitate customer meetings by proactively reaching out to customers and pre-scheduling the meeting with SHI internal resourcesAcquire and manage the IT needs of medium to large businesses while providing customers with a best-in-class customer experience Collaborate and co-sell with SHI internal resourcesResolve customer inquiries, determine customer pain points and offer solutions to solve customer IT challengesUtilize internal sales tools including our customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and quote creation toolProvide customers insight around industry leading technology and IT trendsKeep updated on product and industry knowledgeMaster SHI systems and tools for quoting, ordering and sourcingAttend product and sales trainings as required Travel in-market as needed (up to 10%) Qualifications Completed Bachelor’s Degree (College/University)Minimum of 2-5 Years of Successful IT Sales Experience Successful completion of SHI Inside Sales AcademyPassion for customer outreach and delivering a personalized customer service experienceDesire to learn and a successful track recordProficiency in business productivity tools (Microsoft) - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Required Skills Ability to cold call and create new businessAbility to grow existing customer relationshipsAbility to learn new concepts and processes quicklySuperior organization skills and project/time management abilitiesStrong communication and presentation skillsA linear, logical thinking style with ability to break down and solve difficult problemsExcellent communications skills with ability to simplify and explain complex problems to stakeholdersEmotional intelligence, flexible work style, and excellent diplomatic skills across all levels of the organizationAbility to give and receive constructive feedback Unique Requirements Travel 25% of the time within assigned sales territory to meet existing and potential customers and attend company eventsAdditional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $40,000 - $200,000 which includes a base salary and commission. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
