The Opportunity:
As the Senior Infrastructure Manager, you will lead and oversee a team of eight administrators and engineers who are responsible for managing and maintaining the entire JWICS datacenter infrastructure for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in Fort Meade, Maryland.
Provide in-depth hands-on datacenter operational knowledge and work with the team to upgrade the entire datacenter infrastructure environment to ensure the continued operational availability of the network to support the intelligence community’s mission.
Provide support services with technical problems and information technology issues involving Windows Server, NetApp, VMware, or network services to local employees and employees using network remote access.
Configure, maintain and provide Windows Server Administration support to all users to ensure they can work at all times.
Provide support for all applications running on servers and desktops and all hardware associated with applications, as well as help develop IT solutions to meet business objectives.
Lead the team on all projects and be the liaison between the government customer and the team. Due to the complexity of the network, this position is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
Assist with overseeing the overall administration of all aspects of a datacenter (including SAN, LAN, WAN, Active Directory, Windows Servers, HBSS, ACAS, Virtualization, and VDI environment).
Serve as a Lead engineer/administrator for technical tasks for computing, virtualization, and storage.
Provide reporting to fulfill contract deliverables related to data center operations and projects being performed by the Data Center team.
Attend Change Control Board (CCB) meetings as a technical advisor for all Change Requests (CRs)
Provide guidance and direction in the resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology/Computer Science preferred and/or 8+ years of experience in related field.
Ability to work efficiently/effectively with government leadership
Experience leading a team of administrators within an enterprise environment.
CompTIA Security+ or higher.
Microsoft Certification
Desired:
Advanced experience in the following technologies: VMWare, ESXi, Active Directory, Windows 2016, Windows 10
Experience with enterprise IT architecture and planning of software, hardware, and virtual platforms.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
