Enterprise IT Strategic Planner

The Strategic Planner is responsible for aligning the operational activities of the IT Solutions Center in Cluj with the broader strategic objectives of the organization. This position focuses on coordinating and implementing key initiatives. It ensures that resources, systems, and processes are optimized to meet evolving business requirements. The Planner works closely with the Program Director to translate organizational objectives into strategic plans, ensuring the business' contributions are aligned with the priorities.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Planning and Aligning Objectives:

Work together with the Group Leader and other key team members to develop and implement central initiatives for the IT Center, aligning with the group's long-term objectives. Ensure that the operational actions are synchronized with Enterprise IT and business priorities by translating high-level strategic objectives into actionable plans.

Resource Coordination and Optimization:

Coordinate resources, timelines, and tasks to ensure the successful completion of main initiatives and operational tasks. Ensure that required tools, systems, and personnel are in place to meet the center’s operational and project needs, providing support to resource management and capacity planning.

Facilitation of Strategic Reviews:

Coordinate the progress of central initiatives within the Strategy Pillar, observing and evaluating their advancement to ensure alignment with the strategic goals of the business Work with internal teams and project teams to facilitate the execution of key actions related to ongoing activities and change projects.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Develop important measures to pursue the efficiency of principal initiatives and ensure ongoing improvement in line with business priorities.

Project and Resource Management:

Assist in the allocation and utilization of IT resources to support both operational and strategic projects, ensuring optimal use of the center’s capabilities. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks to the successful execution of initiatives, ensuring project goals are met within time and budget constraints.

Process Optimization and Data Analysis:

Conduct in-depth analyses of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and develop strategies for improvement, ensuring that operations are simplified to align with the organization's overall IT strategy. Apply data collection and analysis to offer practical insights and recommendations, ensuring that key initiatives are based on data-driven decision-making and chip in to continuous operational improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

Find opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiency within the Solutions Center by conducting ongoing reviews and assessments.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’s degree and Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, IT Management, or a related field. We are looking for someone with +5 years of experience in a role that involves planning, analyzing business needs, or leading projects within the IT or shared services industry. Experience of large-scale Enterprise environment handled IT services Excellent presentation skills Shown experience in developing and driving pivotal initiatives within an operational context. Familiarity with resource planning, capacity management, and process optimization in an IT or shared service setting.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead multiple initiatives and resources simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Communicates efficiently to all levels Proficiency in process improvement, performance monitoring, and reporting tools. Capable of working efficiently with cross-functional teams and collaborators. Fluent written and spoken English; any other language is an advantage
