Enterprise Policy and Governance Risk Manager
Description

Huntington is seeking an Enterprise Policy and Governance Risk Manager to work as a member of the Enterprise Policy and Governance ("EP&G" ) Team, reporting to the  Risk Policy Director. The qualified individual will support  oversight of Huntington’s Policy and Governance program and activities related to Enterprise Risk Management. This role will assist in the implementation and sustainability of the enhanced Enterprise Policy and Governance program.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Provide governance documents (including policy, framework, standard, procedure, and committee charter) oversight and guidance to business partnersRecord management for governance documents  and committee materialsPublish governance documents to Huntington’s intranetReview requests for new governance documentsPerform committee attendance monitoringMonitor for past-due policies and charters; monitor committee self-evaluationsPrepare materials to support governance document  approvalsExecute periodic QA/QC reviews related to policy governanceDrive participation and engagement across stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve program goalsMaintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practicesIdentify areas for improvement and remain flexible to perform other assignments as requestedAssist the EP&G Team  with the creation of program-related proceduresCreate materials, including compiling insightful reporting, for senior leadership reviewProvide consultation to stakeholders on document writing, style, format, and connections to other documentsCreate and revise governance document templatesReview new and significant revisions of policies, standards and frameworks, to challenge and confirm the document type, identify overlaps and alignment with other policies across Huntington, and confirm appropriate ownership and committee alignmentAssist in communication efforts and maintaining internal websitesPublish and rescind governance documents to/from the system of recordAssist with maintaining an inventory of governance documentsAssist with the identification, recording, aggregating, and reporting on policy exceptions and violationsAssist in identifying potential policy gaps, as well as rationalization opportunities, across the enterpriseEscalate policy-related matters as needed

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in scope of experience.5 + yrs risk management experience, including with controls, testing, issues management, or audit at a medium or large financial institution, including experience in policy or procedure governance and  implementationProcess design or project management experience

Bachelor’s in finance or information technology or equivalentWorking knowledge of regulatory expectations and industry best practices in risk governance and policy management.Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritizeAbility to be adaptable and handle changing requirementsAbility to work under tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to produce concise and effective presentationsAbility to work in a small team environment, building and maintain a network of contacts and coordinating with a large number of stakeholdersStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel)2-5 years of formal writing experience, including policy or procedure writingDocument rationalization experienceReporting and data analysis experienceCommunication and change management experienceExperience and expertise with Archer (GRC) tool for retrieval, analytics, and reporting is highly preferred.

Compensation Range:

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
