About the role:
As a Risk Analyst Senior you'll work within the Enterprise Risk Management Program Governance Team that is responsible for overseeing and ensuring effective governance across the organization. This role will assist with risk and committee reporting and the oversight and compliance to the various programs including RCSA, Enterprise Issue Management, etc.  The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


About the team:

The Enterprise Risk Management Program Governance team ensures a structured and consistent approach to managing enterprise issues management, risk and control -self assessments (RCSA), and risk reporting. We provide oversight, standardization, and accountability to drive effective identification, monitoring, mitigation, and reporting of risks to align with the organization's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing:

• Ensures strategic objectives of risk management program are met including execution of risk assessment activities, coordination of risk response and program testing and validation.
• Reviews significant events and advises business owners of action steps required to prevent future recurrence.
• Performs risk assessments related to the Data Protection, Supplier Management and Enterprise Risk Management programs as well as other consulting projects throughout various risk disciplines while identifying potential issues, control gaps and potential process efficiencies.
• Documents risk analysis and controls and evaluates control design and continuous control improvement.
• Manages specific areas of exposure.
• Conducts regulatory and other assessments for the Corporation.
• Participates in projects designed to mitigate risks including generating action plans for issues/gaps.
• Tracks, coordinates and resolves issues identified in any and all related control, compliance or risk work.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements.


What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Typically requires five to seven years of experience in enterprise risk management, internal controls, audit or related roles  

• Strong analytical, organizational and communications skills required as well as outstanding interpersonal and human relation skills
• Project-oriented and may require a significant amount of overtime at critical times
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public
