Two years of experience in related roles. Demonstrated professional growth through certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile certifications, ITIL Foundation or higher, Six Sigma, International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), Project Management Institute Certified Associate in Project Management (PMI CAPM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI ACP), or Project Management Professional (PMP). Nature & Purpose of Position Serves as key member in a dynamic team, solving complex university challenges by creating innovative software solutions that improve user experience, boost efficiency, and support the university’s goals. Contributes to the entire development process, from design to deployment, with a focus on using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. Primary Responsibilities Creates and manages software solutions using Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, various programming languages (like Java, .NET, PHP), SQL, XML, JSON, declarative programming, and web scripting. Designs technical solutions based on requirements. Contributes to the development of best practices for AI and automation, ensuring ethical use. Helps create guidelines and technical documentation for programming staff. Works with data owners, data custodians, consultants, and IT staff to address campus technology needs. Contributes to the creation of technical requirements and testing plans for software development. Troubleshoots and fixes issues with databases and applications like Banner and Salesforce. Handles data migration and job operations. Writes specifications and timelines for projects. Reviews new software and maintains data for testing and development. Automates processes when possible. Engages with the university community and external stakeholders to promote AI and automation. Contributes to the development of training programs and workshops for staff, faculty, and students, and provides ongoing support. Participates in events to demonstrate projects and gather feedback. Monitors and assesses the performance and impact of solutions, using feedback to improve guidelines, policies, and training materials to enhance teaching, research, and administrative processes. Performs other related duties as assigned. Other Specifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
