Enterprise Risk Management Consultant

Work you’ll do

As an enterprise risk management Consultant, you are responsible for executing risk management projects for client(s) including planning the ERM program design, developing the ERM program and implementing ERM program strategies.Our enterprise risk management professionals advise state, local, federal and higher education clients on the enterprise risks that interfere with the organization’s ability to meet mission goals.Applicants must be able to problem solve, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.This is more of a policy based rather than technical position, and will be Hybrid with a min of 3 days onsite in the Rosslyn VA/ DMV area.Develop and support an enterprise risk management program, including the establishment of foundational processes, governing bodies, and operating modelsSupport the identification, assessment and monitoring of organizational risksIntegrate internal controls programs and enterprise risk management programs under OMB A-123 GuidanceAssist and create agency Risk Appetite Statements and repeatable analytical solutions to create Key Risk Indicators to monitor risksImplement risk aggregation and monitoring tools (e.g. SalesForce, GRC tools such as RSA Archer, MetricStream)Develop robust risk response plans across multiple business unitsDevelop and/or implement (repeatable/automated) analytical solutions and tools to analyze risk portfolios - reporting, data management, data interpretation into key observations and trendsLeverage statistics and modeling for forecasting and risk identificationInteract with C-Suite executives around risk issues at the highest levels of the organization

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Psychology, English or other related degreesMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureMust be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role2-3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas - risk management, internal controls, or cyber risk managementExperience with managing risks to an organization, its employees, stakeholders, assets and operationsExperience supporting ERM strategies, objectives and policies that will achieve successful risk identification, management and governanceExperience directly interfacing with clients and building client relationshipsExperience with conducting risk analysis, risk dashboarding or risk mitigation planningAbility to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

Previous Federal Government or Consulting experienceUnderstanding of fundamental cloud computing conceptsExperience with Information Assurance concepts and processes within the Federal governmentKnowledge of and experience with Federal security regulations, standards, and processes including FISMA, FIPS, NIST, and FedRAMP

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 88,605 to $ 147,675.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
