The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are adding an Enterprise Risk Management Leader to our growing team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for taking a holistic approach to risk management and collaborate strategically across the enterprise to oversee risk related to corporate functions. You will design, develop and implement an integrated risk management framework that aligns with McKinstry’s overall strategy and in alignment with its mission, vision, and values. Including the creation of risk management systems and programs. This role will engage with company leadership to ensure alignment, foster understanding, build consensus, and manage change effectively.

Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include:

Develop and lead the ERM program for McKinstry which includes program design, governance structure, implementation and operation Contribute to McKinstry’s growth strategy through evaluating potential risks and opportunities to mitigate risk in a proactive manner Perform additional modeling and analysis around key risks Track and report on emerging risks and events, and ensure follow up, creation of action plans and adjustment of policies, processes, procedures as necessary Communicate information regarding business risks with functions across the organization as well as be a key resource for the business units to identify and monitor emerging risks, risk treatment plans and changing risk landscape Drive effective policy governance and practices surrounding McKinstry’s significant policies across the organization 

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required Fifteen (15) years of experience in operational risk management, audit or operations management required, or other relevant experience Project and program management required Strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging Influential leadership skills Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio preferred

The pay range for this position is $110,790 - $190,700 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
