The ISS MI Sales team is looking for a seasoned sales professional with 5+ years of experience in new business development for SaaS-based data and analytics solutions within the financial services or insurance industries. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to advance your career, this opportunity could be a perfect fit.
In this role, your primary focus will be selling to companies in the financial markets, including asset managers, insurance companies, broker-dealers, and financial service firms. By cultivating and growing relationships with senior-level decision-makers, you will leverage solution-based selling techniques to showcase the value of ISS Market Intelligence’s solutions and services. Your goal will be to provide thoughtful recommendations that help clients achieve meaningful business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Driving enterprise (or new logo) sales process from identification to proposal to negotiation to close within assigned territoryAchieve sales goals through the prioritizing your activity and sales pipeline.Partnering with your network to develop and deliver tailored business cases demonstrating the value or ROI for our solutionsPresenting solution benefits through in-person visits at prospect offices, industry conferences, and via web-based demonstrationsWorking hand in hand with our Inside Sales Representatives and Marketing team to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to sales closeMaintaining a thorough working knowledge of the benefits and pricing for all solutions and services offered by ISS Market Intelligence and our competitorsLeveraging Salesforce.com to effectively capture all important insights, notes, and context from in-person meetings, calls, and emails to drive effective forecasting and management of your sales pipelineStaying current on industry trends and developing in-depth knowledge of clients and their unique needs to enable you to effectively educate them about how ISS Market Intelligence solutions and services will help them profitably manage and transform their businessesQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University or equivalent industry experience5+ years of enterprise sales experience, including experience selling software solutions or data to financial institutionsAbility to network and build relationships with senior leaders at top global asset managers, wealth management and insurance providersProven experience in a high velocity sales environment with a multi-task abilityExperience identifying prospect needs and concernsStrong written and oral communication, presentation, and organizational skillsIn-person and virtual presentation skills, with ability to navigate multiple web pages and programs seamlesslyExudes professionalism, and demonstrates analytical and conceptualization problem-solving skillsAbility to engage with prospects to learn critical information about their businesses and then provide analysis of complex business issues to drive adoption of solution and servicesAbility to work well and creatively under pressure and with deadlinesStrong ability to learn new business, data and technology conceptsADDITIONAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES PREFERRED
