What you’ll own
As an Enterprise Sales Executive within the Merchant Bank Sales Channel, you will focus primarily on generating new business from prospective clients and cross sales from existing clients to drive sales growth with aligned Bank Partners. This role focuses on maximizing merchant acquisition and increasing revenue through strategic partnerships with banks, ensuring a seamless sales experience for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise sales, particularly within the financial services and payment solutions sectors, and a deep understanding of the banking and merchant services landscape.
Responsibilities:
• Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with partner banks and their Commercial Bank and Treasury Teams to identify and develop sales opportunities within their client base.
Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for aligned partners, providing them with the resources, education on new products, and support needed to promote merchant services to their clients effectively.
• Sales Strategy: Design and implement strategies for leveraging bank partnerships to expand merchant services reach, focusing on acquiring large middle market/enterprise clients and meeting revenue targets.
Colloborate with internal teams to prepare and deliver comprehensive proposals to clients.
• Pipeline Management: Manage a sales pipeline, track performance metrics, and provide accurate revenue forecasts through CRM systems, ensuring the sales goals are met or exceeded.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct analysis to understand client needs, competitive landscape, and evolving trends in merchant services, and working with internal teams to refine offerings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including Marketing, Product, Solution Consulting, Implementations, and Customer Support, to deliver seamless client experiences.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements related to merchant services, maintaining a high standard of ethical and compliant selling practices.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, partnership effectiveness, and market opportunities to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Always looking forward to creating a bigger impact for our colleagues and customers.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, particularly within merchant services, financial services, or payments industries.Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets through partner relationships.Uses sound judgement to offer comprehensive and customized solutions to meet client needs. Strong understanding of the banking ecosystem and payment processing solutions.Knowledge and ability to sell into diverse types of business and verticals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with key decision-makers at a variety of levels (C-level) to evaluate needs and propose solutions.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.Experience working with financial institutions or in a B2B sales role focused on complex solution-selling.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the payments and merchant services industry.Worldpay perks - what we’ll bring for you
