Enterprise Sales Manager

Shamrocks strong focus on the specialty category makes them a leader in all of their markets. In the role of Enterprise Specialty Manager, you will work under the direction of the VP of Produce and Specialty Products and be responsible for driving growth in our specialty category. As part of this role, you will be managing our specialty sales specialists, servicing our customers and sales representatives, and acting as a liaison between the vendor suppliers and our organization. In this exciting and dynamic environment, every day will be different as you market our Artisanal Provisions category and drive achievement to meet our enterprise sales goals. You will be required to support the team of product sales specialists in each region, as well as vendors, the procurement team, sales representatives and our customers. Essential Duties:

\n\nContinue to grow the specialty category for the organization and meet all company goals and objectives for sales, margin and customer service under direction of the VP of Produce and Specialty Foods.\nKnow the market and continuously demonstrate points of differentiation in what we bring versus our competitors.\nControl the product through the product life cycles to optimize profits and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives.  \nManage SKU rationalization to ensure right product mix for each region.\nWork with procurement to ensure the right product mix to support Shamrock’s initiatives set by the Enterprise.\nRegularly review and set processes in place for management of the portfolio across the organization.\nManage the process to competitively complete all RFP’s and bids to win desired business; restaurants, schools, military, healthcare and institutions.\nDevelop reports to identify opportunities across the business units and work directly with the sales specialists in each market to grow sales.\nExecute go-to-market strategy developed by the VP of Produce and Specialty Foods, working closely with both existing and potential customers. Develop and market product POS for both internal and external customers in alignment with Corporate Marketing. Drive new product rollouts including design and execution of all promotional activities.\nEvangelize our products in all settings with customers and sales representatives, bringing confidence to both the buy and the sell around quality and fair pricing. Be the face of the product for major sales opportunities including the Shamrock Expos and Regional Shows.\nBe a coach and mentor for the Specialty Sales Specialists. Lead training and provide resources to maximize sales performance. Demonstrate ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, sales representatives, buyers, vendors and managers.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

Qualifications:

\n\nSelf-motivated, high energy, goal orientated individual with a passion for the specialty category.\nBe a dynamic communicator\nBachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience. Culinary experience is a plus.\nSpecific product knowledge; must include growing regions, seasonality, imports, food safety and the dynamics of each region.\nExperience with purchasing and marketing strongly desired.\nMust be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends and holidays.\nMust be willing to travel.\n\n

Starting compensation of $90,000-$140,000 per year based on achievement of performance goals.
