Enterprise Security Console Manager

Summary:

The Enterprise Security Console Manager will be responsible for the daily oversight and management of the First Horizon Enterprise Security Console (ESC). The candidate will be responsible for actively monitoring and managing security systems through a dedicated team of security console operators, including responding to alarms and taking necessary actions to address potential threats, essentially acting as the central point of control for security operations by overseeing surveillance cameras, access control systems, and other monitoring tools.

The ESC Manager will be responsible for program compliance and consistency within the security console. The candidate must have critical thinking skills and analytical skills to achieve departmental objectives and produce effective solutions for continuous process improvement. This candidate should be able to work in a collaborative team setting, independently with limited supervision, and will perform other projects and duties as assigned. This position will lead the ESC Operators and will report directly to the Physical Security Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the Enterprise Security Console (ESC) team of Security Operators by setting program standards, facilitating work schedules, assigning responsibilities, and taking corrective action steps when necessary
• Oversee the ESC call system by tracking calls for quality standards
• Supervise the Security Service Request Portal to ensure all service tickets are processed and completed timely by internal and external points of contact
• Actively observe all security monitoring tools for program compliance and potential threats
• Manage routine security system checks to ensure all security equipment is performing to standard, issues are documented, and repairs are conducted for any deficiencies found
• Assist with production and provisioning of First Horizon badge requests as needed
• Update the Physical Security ESC KPI report as needed
• Utilize critical thinking skills and good judgement under pressure to quickly assess serious or sensitive incidents. Take appropriate action based on alarm types, such as dispatching law enforcement, coordinating response efforts, and escalating to Corporate Security management.
• Perform all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or at least 3-5 years in a management position.
• Experience in security operations preferred with an understanding of security technology such as CCTV, access control systems, alarm panels and related applications.
• Self-directed, ability to lead strategy development and initiatives end-to-end with minimum oversight and continuous alignment with business outcomes.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence across multiple functions and teams.
