The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

The Strategy & Transformation (S&T) team within Enterprise Services (ES) is looking for a passionate program leader to lead ES Merger, Acquisition & Divestiture (MA&D) activities in support of business transformation.  The S&T team is focused on using Customer Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) methodology to maximize cost reduction, quality improvement, and enhanced experience while maintaining compliance.  The role will require working with leaders within the RTX corporate organization and the 3 RTX business units to develop and execute plans that create the greatest value for our employees and shareholders.

The Associate Director position will actively engage key ES service areas including Business Services, Cybersecurity, Digital Technology, and Real Estate in support of the RTX MA&D portfolio.  The role works closely with business units and corporate functional leads on the full MA&D lifecycle activity, including but not limited to executing Transition Service Agreements and Integrations.  In addition to MA&D, this role will also support other key strategic initiatives for ES and the S&T organization.   In this fast-paced role, you will interact regularly with RTX senior leaders, at the corporate and business unit levels, keeping them updated on the MA&D activities, strategic initiatives, and other related activities.  Building strong relationships across all business units and functions in organizations that participate in MA&D and strategic ES initiatives is critical success. What You Will Do

Accountable for ensuring that all functional program milestones are developed and align to overall MA&D objectives and financial targets.

Lead initiatives focused on service optimization and continuous improvement to improve the MA&D and strategic processes and policies.

Promote and drive the successful completion of the full MA&D Lifecycle including Due Diligence, Negotiation, Closing through full Integration for ES teams and deliverables.

Manage ES MA&D activities with various functions with the Business Units and Corporate.

Proactively evaluates program activities, builds contingency plans, and executes corrective action on a timely basis to mitigate risks such as scope and/or budget variances.

Make operational decisions within the context of long-term strategic goals and objectives.

Identify and leverage various program interdependencies to ensure synergy between and across all teams to promote efficiency realization across the enterprise.

Work to achieve program milestones, resolve issues, and remove the barriers that may hinder project execution.

Ensures that quality measurements and monitoring mechanisms are in place to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations and integrate with overall program objectives.

Adheres to CORE and project management methodology by leveraging and promoting the use of existing tools, capturing best practices, and identifying areas for process improvement.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requireBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related discipline

Minimum 12 years of experience in Aerospace & Defense, Consulting, Program Management and/or Information Technology; 10 years with advanced degree.

Project and Program Management experience

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Qualifications We Prefer

Prior work experience in Mergers Acquisitions & Divestitures and Strategy

Experience working in Shared Services and cross-matrixed organizations

Knowledge of business processes and procedures.

Demonstrated knowledge of Information or Cyber Security

Master’s degree or equivalent graduate education 

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to represent the organization to key stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple competing initiatives

Ability to translate complex issues or topics into executive level briefing material

Understanding of financial principles and budgeting.

Role type: hybrid with minimum 2 days onsite acceptable.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
