Enterprise Small Business Banker

Job Description:

Job Summary:

This job is responsible for working with Small Business clients to grow and deepen both new and existing relationships over the phone. Key responsibilities include working with clients with revenues up to $5 million and delivering the entire suite of Small Business solutions including deposit, payroll, treasury, merchant, credit card, non-card lending, and digital solutions. Job expectations include providing end-to-end guidance and solutions to Small Business clients by taking a consultative approach and uncovering their life priorities to match them with appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities:

Manages a portfolio of clients and leverages in-depth knowledge of clients business to uncover needs and deliver the appropriate solutionCollaborates with sales and support partners across the enterprise and brings in partners at the appropriate time to support a sales opportunityConsults with Small Business clients to understand their business priorities and provide solutions that meet their needsProvides excellent overall client satisfactionPartners with credit, treasury, and Merrill product partners to ensure quality relationship assessment, prospect needs, and integrate design and execution of financial solutionsBuilds meaningful relationships and partnershipsExecutes on playbook strategies to achieve performance targets

Required Qualifications:

 3-5 years of proven consultative sales experience in financial services, business to business sales, or small business banking Ability to operate in a phone based sales environment Proven track record of enhancing existing client relationships and meeting or exceeding sales goalsProven sales skills and client management experienceMust be able to assess and analyze financial conditions of clients and industry trendsAbility to understand and interpret financial statements and cash flow analysisMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated leadership abilityCapable of partnering and negotiating with team of bank associates to solve client issuesProficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
 

Desired Qualifications:

 Thorough knowledge of small business financial products and services Experience advising business owners on complex credit / lending solutions Familiarity with sales force automation (Salesforce.com/ACT and Interact) Ability to demonstrate examples of improving specific businesses financial outcomes by interpreting financial statements and recommending specific levers
