Title: Enterprise Solutions Architect
Location: Onsite in Chantilly, VA
Citizenship/Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with an active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly Required. This position supports a government contract.

Enterprise Solutions Architect with extensive Space Domain experience. We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert or Senior level individual for this critical program role. You will contribute to the operationalization of a prototype system for a scalable NextGen space resiliency / flight safety program. This is a major system and is supported by an inter-disciplinary set of teams providing full lifecycle software development, cloud, data and systems engineering. You will play an early role in the project life cycle and join the effort to build a complete system (architecture, platform, tool/capabilities, microservices with integration, verification and validation).

This Enterprise level role requires significant Space Domain awareness not limited to Aerospace Engineering, Astrodynamics, Orbital Dynamics, Flight Safety, Satellite Conjunctional Analysis and SAR phenomenology. This role will serve as a counter part to the Government owners, and candidates should have significant knowledge of strategy, operations, and solutions in the domain. There is considerable autonomy and ability to drive applications development, strategic, and tactical objectives.

Responsibilities:

Rationalization and Analysis of Solutions Architecture
Technical leadership on architecture designs and alignment of key objectives and capabilities to development requirements.
Guide team on space mission architecture best practices and methods
Synthesize critical information across multiple domains, applications and technologies.
Interface and Communications with senior project and government parties.

Requirements:

Program and Project Management expertise
Solutions Architecture and Requirements Management expertise
Technical Expertise and proficiency in various advanced technologies, cloud computing and software architecture
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) exp
erience with leading tools such as Cameo
Experience with agile development methodologies
TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph
Ability to work on site in Chantilly, VA, Herndon, VA, or in Englewood, CO

Bonus Skills / Experience – Preferred Consideration for Candidates who have:

Advanced education at the PhD or Graduate level in relevant STEM discipline.
AWS Cloud Computing Skills
DevOps and DevSecOps
Software development experience in JAVA, Python, Scripting
Orchestration Software/Tools (Kubernetes, Docker or OpenShift)
Familiarity with NIFI, Apache, Kafka
Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, MongoDB, Hadoop)
Data Pipelines, Processing and Storage.
