Join Carnival UK’s Entertainment Development Department as an Entertainment Media Executive, and play a key role in developing and delivering engaging media experiences for two of the most exciting and respected brands in the cruise industry—P&O Cruises and Cunard Lines.
As an Entertainment Media Executive, you will be responsible for driving and developing onboard entertainment media products, both new and existing, including Film, TV, Streaming, VOD, Digital Signage, Sports Broadcasts, and media based events. You will ensure that clear development plans for each brand are created, communicated, and delivered in line with the wider Entertainment vision.
This pivotal role will involve:
Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement best practices across both brands, ensuring effective product delivery, cost management, and innovation. Product Development: Support the creation of an effective development cycle to achieve CUK's strategic plan, continuously improving the entertainment media offering while balancing cost, quality, and operational constraints. Cost Management: Create and maintain accurate costing data for all media-related budget lines, including current and future developments. Innovation: Actively seek and develop new opportunities for Cunard and P&O Cruises' media entertainment programs, aligning with the department's vision. People Management: Effectively communicate individual brand objectives, motivate the wider team, and contribute to development and training of media systems for onboard teams. Budget Management: Work with the Entertainment Innovation Manager and the Finance Department to build and manage Entertainment operational budgets and investment for product development and special event media content. Revenue Maximization: Identify opportunities to maximize onboard and pre-ticket sales revenue in collaboration with the Entertainment Planning and Development, Onboard Revenue, and Brand Marketing teams. Technical and Professional Responsibilities: Support the commissioning of new products, ensure content differentiation, and stay informed about current and emerging media trends. Administration Responsibilities: Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, ensure legal compliance, and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders. Flexibility and Travel: Undertake evening and/or weekend duties as required by the department's operational needs, and conduct overseas visits and ship visits as directed by the Entertainment Innovation ManagerThis role is positioned at CUK10 level within our organization and is available on a full-time, permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

High level of PC literacy, particularly to support presentation skills and analysis. Proven experience in media development within a professional environment catering to a diverse guest demographic. Experience in a similar role within the cruise, live entertainment, or broadcast industry. Demonstrable knowledge of current and emerging trends in media entertainment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in dealing with third-party creative partners. Expertise in media and film programming
