Provide music entertainment to guests.
ResponsibilitiesWhere You'll Make an Impact:
Familiarity with a range of equipment such as mixers, microphones, and amplifiers.Play music, to create and maintain atmosphere and/or keep people engaged throughout their experience.Choose music to suit your audience’s taste and the venue’s music policy.Have knowledge of music trends.Capable of interacting and have a good sense of humor with the public.Feed off the crowd and get the crowd involved with the activities and events of the venue for entertainment value.May operate lighting and visual effects in time to the music/atmosphere.Must be comfortable on the microphone for contests and guest interaction.Must be capable of creating a run of show for game watching experiences.
Skills to Help You Succeed:
Must speak English fluently, other languages preferred.Ability to communicate effectively with others; understand and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations.Must be able to work in smoke filled environments.Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.Handling objects, microphones, cables and other sound system products.Standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.Qualifications
Must-Haves:
High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent work experience with performing live, specifically with DJing for events/parties/nightclubs.You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment. Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
Physical Requirements:
Casino is over large and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment.
