JOB SUMMARY:
To assists and ensure the proper working conditions of all aspects of all shows, props, sets, equipment, vehicles, and any other technical aspects of events, shows and facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Work with Promotional Events and Entertainment Supervisor on the execution of season long projects that will be assigned during department onboardingExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalOperate and maintain technical support on equipment associated with specific production in the manner designed and set by the production staffPerform all shows on time as designed by Entertainment SupervisorDaily inspections of all aspects of events, shows and areas assigned to youRepair any technical aspects of shows facilities as neededRequires keeping your work location and the park clean and sanitary for all guest and team membersAssist in the moving of props, sets and other aspects of the show, before, during, and after the showOperate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe manner and utilize appropriate PPENavigate in, on, or around scenic elements associated with specific production in potentially dark and restrictive spacesHelp to manage and maintain the House before and after the show, to assist guests with questions and to help clean the house in preparation for next performance.Train new personnel as neededORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
Reports directly to the Promotional Events and Entertainment SupervisorMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Be at least 18 years of ageBasic technical theatrical skills required for all positions. Expert skills required for some positionsRequired to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, outdoors in various weather conditionsMust be able to work with ladders, scaffolding or liftsMust be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for the length of shiftMust have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with othersMust be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitudeMust have a valid driver’s licensePOSITION(S) AVAILABLE
April – October: Spring 10-20+ hours weekly, Weekends only; Summer: 20-30+ hours weekly, Monday – Sunday. Varied shifts.
