Entertainment Technician Supervisor

Minimum Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Two or more years of professional supervisory experience or venue management and two or more years of professional technical entertainment and/or theatrical technical experience.

· Associates or bachelor’s degree in Theatrical or Technical Arts/Design, or equivalent professional experience and vocational training in technical direction.

· Comprehensive understanding of theatrical and show products including DMX lighting, audio, visual and pyrotechnic equipment.

· Excellent knowledge in complex audio/video systems, rigging, video and audio equipment, show control systems, wireless microphones, and media equipment.

· Skilled at diagnosing and resolving issues in lighting, audio, video, wireless microphones, show control, special effects, and other theatrical show equipment, with the ability to reprogram, replace or repair faulty components as needed.

· Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and manage projects to ensure on-time project completion.

· Experience with set design, stage plotting and other theatrical experience a plus.

· Computer literacy. Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record. Experience working with forklifts, man lifts, scissor lifts and other industrial equipment preferred.

· Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong leadership and motivational skills.

· Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays.

· Must have the ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, climb a ladder and safely work from heights frequently throughout full shift and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds safely. Ability to work in environments that are loud, dark, bright, elevated and extreme heat and cold conditions required.
