Role Overview:
You will lead the migration and management of Entra ID and Active Directory services to the Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure platforms. This role will involve developing strategies, ensuring system readiness, and implementing security measures to ensure a seamless transition to cloud environments. You’ll collaborate closely with IT teams and stakeholders to assess, plan, and execute the migration, while providing technical expertise to resolve any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Migration Initiatives: Oversee the migration of Entra ID and Active Directory from on-premises environments to M365 and Azure cloud platforms.
Develop Migration Strategies: Create and implement processes and procedures to ensure efficient cloud migration of identity services.
Collaboration and Assessment: Work with IT teams and stakeholders to evaluate on-premises systems, establish migration timelines, and identify necessary changes.
System Readiness: Ensure all on-premises systems are compatible and ready for cloud integration and migration.
Security Management: Design and apply security policies and controls to protect Entra ID and Active Directory services within the cloud environment.
Performance Monitoring: Ensure the continued availability and reliability of cloud-based Entra ID and Active Directory services.
Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and issue resolution for cloud-based identity services.
Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions to educate teams and users on new cloud functionalities.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in Entra ID, Active Directory, M365, and Azure technologies.
Vendor Collaboration: Engage with external partners to support both migration and ongoing operations.
Work Schedule:
Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday.
Required Qualifications:
Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Experience:
25 years of experience with a high school diploma/GED, or
20 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
Certifications:
IAT Level 2 certification.
CompTIA Security+ CE.
Technical Expertise:
Experience with identity federation, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing Entra ID and Active Directory services, both on-premises and in the cloud.
Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and configuration management.
Expertise in cloud migration and Azure integration.
Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex identity-related issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working in team environments.
In-depth knowledge of M365 and Azure platforms, focusing on identity management, authentication, and security controls.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
