HIRING: 2D Mechanical Drafter (Entry-Level)!!

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 2D Mechanical Drafter to join our team. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their career in mechanical drafting. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and editing AutoCAD/Inventor models and drawings to support various internal departments, including Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in CAD software and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and edit 2D AutoCAD/Inventor models and technical drawings/layouts to meet project specifications.Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.Develop CAD models and drawings that include mechanical and electrical components, welded assemblies, and some electrical schematics.Assist in drafting panels, distribution boards, and large electrical equipment as required by project needs.Perform additional duties as necessary to support the requirements of ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Mechanical Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.0-2 years of experience in mechanical drafting or a related role.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor software.Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with electrical schematics.Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in mechanical and electrical drafting.Experience with drafting panels, distribution boards, and large electrical equipment is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
