Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in Richmond, Virginia, United States. The selected individual will be handling accounting functions for multiple properties, managing account reconciliations, and generating end-of-month reports. As an integral part of our team, you will be expected to maintain high levels of accuracy in all your duties. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the management of accounting functions for seven properties. • Undertake the booking of journal entries in an accurate and timely manner. • Perform account reconciliations, specifically for investment accounts. • Review General Ledger (GL) accounts for any discrepancies or errors and rectify them. • Generate and distribute end-of-month reports to relevant stakeholders. • Utilize Yardi for various accounting tasks, though prior experience with Yardi is not mandatory. • Handle account analysis as and when required. • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must for efficient handling of financial data. • Ability to perform Account Analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Capable of making accurate Accounting Entries to maintain financial records. • Knowledge of various Accounting Functions to ensure smooth financial operations. • Skilled in Account Reconciliation to validate financial statements and records. • Familiarity with handling Accounts Payable (AP) to manage company's financial obligations. • Experience with Yardi software is desired for property management accounting tasks.
