Job Title: ENTRY LEVEL Antenna Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing software and working with hardware/RF systems. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in both software development and hardware testing within a lab environment. You will be responsible for automating test fixtures, troubleshooting RF issues, and supporting technicians in a dynamic and collaborative setting.

ResponsibilitiesProgram software in C/C++ or MATLAB to automate test fixtures.Develop test software for Nearfield and Compact Antenna Range.Create and maintain software programs for test automation.Troubleshoot RF issues during tests of advanced antenna systems.Support technicians with troubleshooting and training.Analyze test data to identify early trends.Participate in program meetings to develop root cause and corrective actions.Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements.Essential SkillsProficiency in C/C++ or MATLAB.Experience with RF design or RF testing through coursework or projects.Hands-on experience testing in a lab with electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and network analyzers.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.1+ years of professional or project-based experience in software development with C/C++ or MATLAB.MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE UNITED STATES SECRET CLEARANCE Work Environment

This position involves working in both indoor and outdoor Antenna Test Ranges at our BWI campus. You will work closely with RF design engineers to create test equipment and automated test software for RF products. The environment includes a mix of lab work and range testing. The role requires a Secret clearance, and the candidate must obtain SAP clearance before starting. The lab operates 24/7 with multiple shifts to ensure continuous coverage. The current opening is for the weekday 1st shift (M-F).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $48.08
