**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented assemblers to join our team. This role involves working in teams to assemble and inspect sunglasses from start to finish. The position requires flexibility and the willingness to work mandatory overtime. Multiple shifts are available, including first, second, and third shifts. **Responsibilities** + Screw, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together, preparing them for the lens installer and Quality Auditor. + Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames. + Use small tools to insert small screws or pins to hold frames together. + Work with pad printer to mix paint for pad print and fix malfunctions. + Sand and buff the gate/burr off the center frame. + Send assembled products to Quality Auditor for final inspection before packaging. + Perform highly repetitive, short cycle assembly tasks. + Set up workstations at the start of each shift, potentially building different models each day. + Adapt to changing job duties and departments within assembly as required. + Stand and walk throughout the day; comfortable shoes or insoles recommended. + Use small hand tools and/or power tools as needed. + Rotate jobs within each shift to limit repetitive movements. **Essential Skills** + Ability to stand for 8-10+ hours a day. + Good attendance record with a 'three strikes' mentality. + Flexibility to work mandatory overtime and adapt to changing job duties. **Why Work Here?** We offer a range of benefits to our employees, including a 70% discount on frames and 60% off apparel after 90 days of employment. The work involves highly repetitive, short-cycle assembly tasks. We maintain a casual dress code with closed-toed shoes required. Protective eyewear must be worn 100% of the time, and earplugs are required in certain departments. We prioritize safety with regular stretches before and after lunch, and a one-hour safety training session is required before starting the position. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.97 - $19.97/hr.
