Job Title: Associate Tech
Job Description

As an Associate Tech, you will be responsible for setting up machines daily, tracking machine output and equipment downtime, and compiling daily reports for supervisors. You will make minor machine adjustments, troubleshoot, and ensure compliance with safety protocols, including wearing latex gloves and clean room attire. This role involves lifting materials, cross-training on multiple machines, and moving materials around the manufacturing floor.

ResponsibilitiesComplete daily machine setups, requiring basic computer literacy.Track daily machine output and equipment downtime.Compile daily reports for supervisors.Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot issues.Wear latex gloves and clean room attire as required.Lift 40+ pounds regularly.Cross-train on multiple machines.Move materials around the manufacturing floor and lift materials into machines for input/output.Commit to a fast-paced work environment, learning from watching others and asking questions.Perform daily stretching exercises.Essential SkillsBasic computer literacy.Ability to lift 40+ pounds.Comfortable standing and moving for 8-10+ hours a day.Strong commitment and ability to follow directions.Quick learning aptitude.Additional Skills & QualificationsNo experience required, but helpful.Good attendance record, adhering to a 10-point system.Willingness to work 6 days a week if necessary.Open to working overtime when required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is within a manufacturing setting that is fast-paced and requires standing for 8-12 hours a day. You will engage in highly repetitive short-cycle assembly tasks. The dress code is casual, with close-toed shoes and eyewear required throughout the shift. The company provides two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break. Performance-based opportunities for advancement to lead or controller positions are available.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.97 - $20.97
