Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure. We are seeking an Entry Level Civil/Mechanical Infrastructure Engineer to help execute water and wastewater conveyance infrastructure projects, including pipelines and pump stations, for our Texas clients.

Responsibilities Performing engineering work in water and wastewater conveyance infrastructureWork on engineering planning and design projectsDevelop plans and specificationsPrepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projectsSystem modeling and hydrauilc calculationsPermitting and alternative analysisPreparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverablesData entry and analysisProvide engineering services during constructionParticipate in field activities such as alignment studies and site visits Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering Minimum academic requirements include coursework in hydraulics and principles of water and wastewater infrastructure design0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineeringEngineer-in-Training CertificationApplication of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniquesStrong verbal and written communication skillsWork well in a team environmentHighly motivated, articulate, and self-startingProficient in MS Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and water and sewer hydraulic calculations/modeling software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM) Other Compensation and Benefits
