Job Title: Civil Project Engineer

Role Summary:

As a Civil Engineer, you will assist our civil engineering team in developing and designing land development projects. This role involves drafting, design calculations, project analysis, report writing, and various administrative tasks. You will also gain experience in field DOT inspections and participate in client meetings and site inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

\t•\tAssist in the development and design of land development projects.

\t•\tPerform drafting and design calculations using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

\t•\tConduct project analysis and prepare detailed reports.

\t•\tParticipate in field DOT inspections as needed.

\t•\tSupport the project manager with reports, client activities, and administrative tasks.

\t•\tAttend client meetings and perform civil site inspections.

Skills & Qualifications:

\t•\tEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline preferred.

\t•\tTechnical Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of roadway design, storm and sanitary drainage design, water line design, and/or site design is preferred.

\t•\tMunicipal Standards: Understanding of municipal engineering standards and processes is a plus.

\t•\tSoft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to assist project managers, and interact with clients effectively.

Work Environment:

\t•\tOffice: Engage in drafting and design projects, assist with reports and client activities.

\t•\tField: Visit job sites, attend client meetings, and perform civil site inspections as needed.
