**Job Title: Construction Materials Tester**
**Job Description**
As a CMT, you will be responsible for monitoring pile driving blow counts and testing densities across multiple sites in the Baton Rouge area. This role is ideal for individuals who are keen to enter the construction industry and are looking for opportunities to grow.
**Responsibilities**
+ Monitor pile driving blow counts.
+ Take samples of soil, asphalt, concrete, etc.
+ Test densities on multiple construction sites.
+ Document work activities and results accurately.
+ Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
+ Ensure attention to detail in all tasks.
+ Communicate effectively with team members.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in heavy civil construction (preferred).
+ Knowledge of vibration monitoring (preferred).
+ Experience with pile logging (preferred).
+ Possession of a truck (preferred).
+ No certifications required. (A TWIC and OSHA is a big plus if you already have it)

**Work Environment**
You will work on civil construction sites in the Baton Rouge area as part of a small team of technicians. The work involves very dirty tasks, and appropriate attire includes long pants, steel-toe boots, a hard hat, and long sleeves.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00
