Join Us as a Data Scientist!

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Data Scientist to join our Connected Vehicle Engineering team. The successful candidate will work closely with our data scientists and engineers to analyze large datasets, develop predictive models, and provide actionable insights to improve our connected vehicle technologies.

Responsibilities Develop analytic models using vehicle connected data to improve vehicle design.Build empirical remaining useful life models for every component of the vehicle that affects uptime.Using vehicle IoT from onboard sensors, ECU’s and other telematic information, provide design insights for engineers to optimize vehicle design, performance efficiency and uptime.Correlate information from off-board sources to support analytical models and optimize vehicle design.Work with Digital Service Solutions team to offer commercial versions of correlated engineering analytical models. Minimum Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Science, Economics, Engineering or similar quantitative field and no experience and will obtain degree prior to first day of employment

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Science, Economics, Engineering or similar quantitative field Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
