Boeing is seeking a C-17 Entry Level Electrical System Design Engineer to join our team in Long Beach, California.
The primary role for this position is to assist with development, integration and testing of electronic systems by developing basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.
The position will perform that role for the development of various secure communication systems that will be integrated into multiple aircraft platforms common core (to facilitate reuse) to provide tactical Situational Awareness.
In this role, you will also assist in development, integration and testing of state-of-the-art data analytics systems (needed for data acquisition, onboard analysis and alerting) being applied to military or commercial platforms with legacy architectures.
In addition, you will participate in both supplier and customer design reviews by preparing and presenting relevant design information.
The role will lead coordination between all stakeholders to ensure successful EMC test execution including Boeing subject matter experts, USAF program office, test wing, base ops, crews, maintainers and various suppliers whose equipment is being tested on the USAF C-17. Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science)Experience operating signal analysis devices, digital logic analyzers, JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) StandardExperience with Software tools to debug and refine embedded projects for Aircraft Data Collection Hardware.knowledge on micro controllers (such as ESP or ARM).Experience utilizing advanced C/C++ and Linux programming skills on the development of secure communications applications.Able and willing to travel up to 20% of the time domesticallyDrug Free Workplace:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $70,550 -95,450
