Description:You will be the Detail Part Inspector, responsible for performing meticulous inspections of mechanical parts and installations. What You Will Be Doing
As the Detail Part Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of mechanical parts and installations, including completed systems, assemblies, tools, and detail parts. You will utilize a variety of techniques, inspection equipment, and instruments to verify the quality and precision of our products.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Performing visual and layout inspections of mechanical parts and installations
-Utilizing conventional measurement devices, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and tolerances
-Inspecting completed systems, assemblies, tools, and detail parts for quality and precision
-Identifying and documenting any defects or discrepancies found during inspection

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to work on a team

• High school degree or equivalent

• Must be able to use computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge of machine parts, tooling section or mechanical assembly inspection

• Inspection experience

• Ability to use precision measurement tools (ie: Calipers, micrometers, etc)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
