Entry-Level Distribution Engineer

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Distribution Engineer for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in Syracuse, New York.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesPerform distribution design, transmission project support, as well as a variety of other tasks as assigned by utility clientsDistribution design typically includes physical design, electrical design, and materialsRequired Education/ExperienceEngineering degree, from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power optionMust have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnelStrong knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering upon which to buildAbility to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with different personalitiesMust be able to successfully pass client's background screening processMust have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordDesired Education/ExperienceBSEE or BSCE degree, from an ABET accredited university, preferably with a power optionInternship or co-op experience with utility or industrial facilityEngineer in Training certificate (EIT) or passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

Base Salary Range:  $66K - $76K

The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(k) match, etc.
