Interviews for this role will begin early October, with projected start dates in January 2025 and June 2025. Responsibilities What You’ll Do: Collaborate and Contribute: Work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design and develop electrical systems, components, and software applications for our vehicles. Design and Develop: Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuits using industry-standard design tools. Develop Embedded Software: Assist in developing embedded software for vehicle control systems, communication protocols, and human-machine interfaces. Select Components: Participate in selecting appropriate electrical components, sensors, and actuators based on design requirements and industry standards. Support and Integrate: Develop embedded control systems and software for vehicle subsystems, ensuring proper functionality and integration. Test and Validate: Perform testing and validation of electrical systems, including functional testing, performance testing, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with Hardware Engineers: Ensure seamless integration of software with vehicle components. Enhance Functionality: Contribute to integrating sensor data, communication networks, and control algorithms to enhance vehicle functionality. Stay Current: Keep up with emerging technologies, trends, and regulations in electrical engineering and transportation. Document and Report: Maintain clear and organized documentation of design specifications, test procedures, and progress reports. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science OR Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and will obtain degree prior to first day of employment Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
