Job Description
We are seeking an Entry Level Engineer to perform environmental sampling, monitoring, and data collection. You will support construction observation and documentation to ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards, collect and manage construction material samples and survey data, and develop environmental compliance reports and regulatory documents. This role requires travel to project sites as needed and offers the opportunity to collaborate on the design and permitting of waste diversion and waste management facilities.
ResponsibilitiesPerform environmental sampling, monitoring, and data collection.Support construction observation and documentation to ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards.Collect and manage construction material samples and survey data.Travel to project sites as required.Develop environmental compliance reports and regulatory documents.Evaluate how various end-use materials and wastes are managed throughout the state.Collaborate on the design and permitting of waste diversion and waste management facilities, such as compost facilities, landfills, and transfer stations.Assist in calculations and technical designs for waste management and remediation projects.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, laboratories, and regulators.Create or review CAD drawings (AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience a plus).Research technical data and regulatory standards to support project needs.Write proposals, bid documents, and health & safety plans.Essential SkillsExperience with stormwater, landfill, soil sampling, report writing, and field work.Knowledge of stormwater sampling and landfill operations.Experience in geology, solid waste management, and/or environmental science.Experience with sample testing, site assessment, and groundwater sampling.Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geological Engineering.0 to 4 years of relevant work experience.Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a plus but not required.Ability to use basic hand tools and lift up to 50 pounds.Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $52.00/hr.
