The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking highly motivated, creative and skilled candidates for an Entry-Level Fabrication Specialist - Hand Finisher to join our production team environment, which will support our Boeing manufacturing facility in Helena, Montana, on 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm-2:00 am).
This position will work closely with manufacturing operations and assembly to produce hard metal airplane part details and assemblies for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
The ideal candidate will have a background in hand finishing parts, use of hand tools, mechanical ability and machining while working in a collaborating and teaming environment with the ability to improve the daily work and quality improvement.

Position Responsibilities:
Hand finish and edge break of aluminum, stainless & titanium production partsUtilize and follow standardized work and step details required for production parts and assembliesAssists real time problem solving to understand and determine the true root cause to eliminate all defects and improve the product, process or system.Assists and verifies that all parts are inspected prior to closing an operation so we do not pass on any defects to our downstream customersSupport a culture that is committed to continuous improvementHold ourselves and team accountable to Boeing Behaviors and ValuesBe part of an environment of effective two-way communication (within team and across departments or shifts)Function as a team to work together to meet daily performance targets and achieve higher levels of safety, quality, and efficiencyBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Experience using hand and/or air (pneumatic) toolsAbility to work any shift based on the needs of the operationAbility to lift up to 35 poundsAbility to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and liftingPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Minimum 3 months experience in Aerospace, Mechanics, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experienceDrug Free Workplace:
