**Job Title: Sumner - Forklift Operator** **Job Description** Stand up type forklift experience 100% necessary! This is a go-to-work position with minimal training desired. Candidates will be responsible for performing all duties as either a freight handler and forklift driver. Duties include unloading/loading freight from containers, palletizing, and performing quality checks on products. Candidates must be willing to lift 50-75 lbs. on a regular basis. Associates will start offloading for the first few days to understand the supply chain process. This is vital as some days they will need to cover a shortage of freight handlers. Candidates will also be responsible for operating stand-up forklifts, with inbound roles split 60% on/40% off forklift and outbound roles 60% on/40% off forklift (Stand-up Loader/Reach/Cherry Picker). Utilizing an RF scanner to cross-reference and check for accuracy is required. A forklift test must be passed and completed prior to the first day. **Hard Skills** + Warehouse + Inventory + Load/Unload + Picking + Processing **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 2 Year(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Sumner, Washington. **Work Environment** Expeditors warehouse with product stacked in the middle of the facility on racks and dock doors surrounding the outside. Forklifts are constantly moving throughout the facility and in/out of containers. Candidates will be working in a warehouse with medium teams (10+ employees).
