**Job Title: Entry Level Furnace Operator** **Job Description** As a Furnace Operator, you will follow basic process procedures, work instructions, and safety training. You will accurately record process information and interpret it to determine necessary actions. Daily tasks include monitoring and operating furnaces, maintaining process equipment, handling specialized chemicals, and following emergency procedures. You will assure the use of PPE, perform surface treatments to meet quality standards, and manage hazardous energies safely. Additionally, you will record equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and inventory used. Promoting a positive work environment and maintaining clean and safe work areas are crucial responsibilities. You will identify and communicate improvements to procedures, organize your time effectively, and work with minimal supervision once trained.
