**Entry Level Industrial Maintenance** **Job Description** The Maintenance Apprentice will be trained by experienced maintenance technicians and will work alongside 2 maintenance mechanics and 2 maintenance electricians. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance on machines, minor machine repairs such as removing broken bolts and keys, swapping out motors and pumps, and troubleshooting hydraulics. The apprentice will also perform MIG/STICK welding and operate a sit-down forklift. **Hard Skills** + mechanically inclined + sit down forklift + hydraulics + hand/power tools + MIG/STICK welding **Work Environment** This is a non-climate controlled environment with very old machinery. **_The position is first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm._** The apprentice may be required to work past 3:30 pm as needed. **Why Here?** + Company provides 6% 401k match and after 5 years will get shares in the company. + Employees get 120 hours of PTO each year. This will be prorated depending on their start date. + Also, provide tuition assistance. + All tools and uniforms will be provided. + They will also will pay for steel toes. + Can move to class b maintenance after 6 months and the pay increases to $26.95.
