**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Responsible for maintaining the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center. **Responsibilities** + Maintain and operate high-speed unit sorters (Cross Belt, Tilt Tray, Sliding Shoe). + Operate and maintain case sorters (Narrow Belt, Pop Up, Sliding Shoe, Swivel wheel). + Work with PLC controllers and understand processes and I/O (inputs & outputs). + Program and troubleshoot conveyor controls such as Pyramid. + Handle Print & Apply systems. + Troubleshoot photo eyes, encoders, scanners, and dimensioners. + Manage VFD controls. + Operate ASRS systems (Automatic Storage & Retrieval System). + Handle MDR conveyors (Motorized Drive Roller). + Operate powered curve conveyors. + Have electrical knowledge of 600v, 480v, 240v, 120v, 24v, 12v systems. + Understand electrical transformers and motor control panels. + Replace and wire up a 3-phase 480v motor with a brake. + Replace gear box speed reducers. + Re-lace or replace conveyor belts of multiple sizes and lengths. + Understand air control systems (Air Compressors, Valves, actuators, cylinders, devices). + Handle hydraulic systems (Pumps, hoses, fittings). + Maintain trash compactors and corrugated balers. + Perform maintenance service and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and painting. + Read schematics, blueprints, etc. + Have thorough knowledge of all shop tools. **Essential Skills** + Preventive maintenance + Mechanical skills + Troubleshooting + Schematic reading **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must have own tools + Minimum 1 year experience (preferred 2 years) in preventative maintenance and mechanical experience + Completion of a course through Trade Schools related to automation, industrial technology, etc. preferred **Why Work Here?** Opportunity to advance within Maintenance.
