Job Description
Responsible for maintaining the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center.
ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on various equipment including high speed unit sorters (Cross Belt, Tilt Tray, Sliding shoe) and case sorters (Narrow Belt, Pop Up, Sliding Shoe, Swivel wheel).Work with PLC controllers, understanding processes and I/O (inputs & outputs).Manage conveyor controls such as Pyramid and troubleshoot photo eyes, encoders, scanners, and dimensioners.Handle VFD controls, ASRS systems (Automatic Storage & Retrieval System), MDR conveyors (Motorized Drive Roller), and powered curve conveyors.Apply electrical knowledge for 600v, 480v, 240v, 120v, 24v, 12v systems, transformers, and motor control panels.Replace and wire up a 3-phase 480v motor with a brake.Replace gear box speed reducers and re-lace or replace conveyor belts (multiple sizes and lengths).Work with air control systems (Air Compressors, Valves, actuators, cylinders, devices) and understand hydraulics (Pumps, hoses, fittings).Maintain trash compactors and corrugated balers.Perform maintenance service and repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and painting.Read schematics, blueprints, etc., and possess thorough knowledge of all shop tools.Essential SkillsPreventive maintenanceMechanical experienceTroubleshootingReading schematicsAdditional Skills & QualificationsMust have own toolsMinimum 1 year experience (preferred 2 years) in preventative maintenanceMechanical experience OR completion of Industrial Automation, Electrical, or Mechatronics programs at Trade School (Norco, Chaffey, UEI, etc.)Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Distribution Center over 3 million square feet. Shifts/Schedule: Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs 6am-2:30pm, 2:00pm - 10:30pm, 10:00pm - 6:30am.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00
