Entry Level Maintenance Technician
**Entry Level Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** This position is for a Maintenance Technician within a food processing company where they have high-speed packaging equipment, sizing equipment, hopping, splitting, and other shaping equipment for chicken, both frozen, chilled, or partially fried. Employees will be responsible for both preventative maintenance and troubleshooting/repairing. The role will involve working both mechanically and electrically, with electrical panels and up to 480v. The breakdown of mechanical to electrical tasks would be 70-30% of the time. **Responsibilities** + Responsible for all aspects of maintenance and keeping the facility running for production + Work under GMP’s and ensure that all health and safety standards are met + Experience in working with high-speed packaging equipment and problem-solving any issues + Required to work safely with 480v and other electrical issues that arise + Follow the preventative maintenance plan as directed by the manager **Essential Skills** + Attended a Trade School, learning industrial manufacturing + Ability to read and interpret blueprints along with schematics + Able to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical problems through a written test + Own their own basic set of tools **Why Work Here?** This is a great opportunity for entry-level maintenance candidates because the company is willing to invest and train them on industrial maintenance repairs and best practices.
